I feel grey, gloomy, and depressed. But it's not because something bad happened today, actually the exact opposite happened. I had a great day. I was asked to be on the Academic Decathlon for Religion, I was congratulated for my good grades... But I want to do anything but Academic Decathlon at this point, and I'm sure I wouldn't regret that decision if I chose to follow it. I'm not sure if I would regret the decision to accept the position, but I feel really... "...No thanks," about it. Both of my parents are pressuring me to do it, and I've heard from other adults that I know that they enjoyed many of the things their parents forced them to do. But I still don't want to... I really don't want to, actually, but I've got no reason. Which stinks.

I reread a scene I wrote for Wing It called "Burning". It's chapter one of Part Three, I'm thinking, and it's quite sad. At least in my opinion.

I'm trying to get 's opinion too, but she won't respond to my IM's. It's about a character dying. Not an MC, but it changes an MC drastically.

So we have five characters who're getting killed off so far, two being Canon characters. One doesn't really die, but is out of the story for good. Another...well...Um... >.>"

My classmates are idiots, and some are pretty scary. And life is boring and dull otherwise. I like my teachers more than ever, I hate The Pearl by John Steinbeck, I have the second MR Manga...

I think that 'tanks too. The only character designs I like are Max's before the makeover, Dr. Martinez's, and Iggy's (also before his make over). Many of the reasons I dislike all the other designs are as follows: HOW IN THE FREAKING WORLD ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO HIDE THEIR WINGS when A) their clothes are skin tight, B) their wings go down past their knees [seen when Max is at Dr. Martinez's, hello], and C) their backs are exposed [Nudge The Hooker]. GRRR.

Max and Fang's kiss was...weird looking.

Fang, for that matter. Asian? Emo? Leopard print?

Erm...

And then, I know I'm one to talk, but can't Nara Lee hop on Google and get a good wing reference? Or use some sense of realistic (cough, I know it's sci fi) proportions [Angel's wings]. Gr.

And...I'm really bored and frustrated at everything, never a good combination. Sigh...

Off to go read some MLIA entries. Should cheer me up.
